Laem Thian is accessible from Sai Ree village, the first part of the road can be awkward, especially after the rains. Bungalows are attractively built in the rocks, and the concrete restaurant fills much of the bay.
Laem Thian is a very small bay or cape rather. Pebble, rock, and sand beach. The sea rolls in here with some reasonable waves when the wind is from the east. Plenty of crashing, banging, and sea spray to entertain you. South facing bay, so plenty of sunshine all day long. Tucked off the beaten track so usually very quiet.
Laem Thian offers great snorkelling and scuba diving. Snorkelling around the rocks can be rewarding, and equipment can be rented here, together with kayaks.
